Project Architect
We are seeking a qualified Project Architect with the skills necessary to assist the Principal/Project Manager, via management of project team(s) including directing and mentoring other team members during the design development and construction documents phases of service and construction administration duties/support to the Principal/Project Manager.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the project's development with the Project Designer/Project Manager or Principal.

Oversee the production of design development and construction documents.

Development of project specifications.

Assist with construction administration activities including shop drawing review and site observation and reporting.

Keep team efforts organized, ensure project delivery quality, and manage budgets, schedules, and fees.

Anticipate potential challenges or obstacles and identify and implement solutions.

Mentor staff, and maintain a positive workflow and team atmosphere.

Communicate professionally with consultants and team members.

Monitor team progress and ensure that team members have sufficient information and knowledge to maintain productivity and meet project schedules and deliverable timelines.

Reports to the Principal/Project Manager assigned to the project.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or equivalent experience.

10+ years of architectural production/technical experience with 5 years of organizational and project management experience.

Knowledge of construction methodology.

Experience working with consultants from various trades.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to communicate fluently in English, spoken and written, with strong communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a typical office work environment using a PC; a hybrid opportunity is available after 90 days.

Travel may be required.
