TECHNICAL ARCHITECT+

We are currently seeking a Technical Architect with strong professional and production technical skills. The ideal candidate will work with senior staff and other team members in the technical development of the project from the concept design through construction documents and construction administration.

Role also includes:

  • Carrying out independent assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Technical production of drawing sets.
  • Developing original technical solutions and innovations.
  • Working in a collaborative environment, including mentoring junior staff.
  • Communicating and coordinating with various consultants from different trades.
  • Involved in the review of shop drawings and contractor clarifications (RFI) during construction.
  • Potential for travel.
  • Reports to the Project Architect/Project Manager assigned to the project.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years of architectural production technical experience.
  • Knowledge of construction methods.
  • Great verbal presentation skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with consultants from various trades.
  • 5 years minimum experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit, developing technical details a plus.

PROJECT ARCHITECT+

We are currently seeking qualified Project Architect candidates. This person will leverage excellent interpersonal skills and 10+ years of experience in project management to deliver exceptional client projects. Working with clients primarily in the restaurant industry, this person will lead a team that creates dynamic and memorable experiences.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with designers and architects to implement client projects.
  • Responsible for producing technical drawing sets.
  • Deploy resources to ensure that the work process flows smoothly and be the primary liaison between the team and client.
  • Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing and project details with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Track and manage financial performance of assigned projects, including monitoring work plan, overseeing project schedule, fees, billing, etc.
  • Provide leadership to the team and client by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of architectural experience; experience with restaurants preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction methods.
  • Extensive knowledge of architectural principles, practices, and construction delivery.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent verbal presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in work with consultants from various trades.
  • Preferences:
    • Bachelor of Architecture degree.
    • Licensed or actively seeking professional license.
    • 5 years minimum experience in AutoCAD/Revit developing technical details.
